Android app released!

Chorddetector is now also available as an application for Android phones. It has been developed together with our friends from IndieIT and is available in their webshop at the Android marketplace: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.indie.chorddetector

Chord detection made easy

Some people have perfect pitch. For them, transcribing the chords of a song is just as easy as writing down the lyrics. For the rest of us, life is way more difficult. Fortunately, now you can get this cool piece of software to help you with the task!

Chorddetector is an mp3/wav-player with an integrated chord detection engine. As simple as that. Of course, what’s going on under the hood is mighty complicated but all you need to do is load the song whose chords you’re interested in, press play, and off you go! Chords will be displayed in realtime, so you can play along live with your instrument.

Chorddetector is available for only 15 $ for Windows (XP and higher) and Mac (Intel 10.5 and higher). The demo version stops displaying chords after 60 secs. Chorddetector is a product of DDMF, a renowned audio software company based in Amsterdam, NL. Visit http://www.ddmf.eu for more information
